
Help Appalachian Outreach Recycle…
The following items are recycled on a regular basis at the Appalachian Outreach Center:
· Aluminum cans and other aluminum items…. The collection wagon is located just inside the A.O. Ministry Center gate.
·
Newspaper…..The collection dumpster is located beside the
A.O. Drop-Off building (next to the A.O.
Ministry Center gate)
· Metals (all kinds) ….The dumpster is located on the upper lot of the A.O. Ministry Center parking lot.
· Cardboard…collection is to the right as you go inside the A.O. Ministry Center gate.
· Computers *
· Computer Ink cartridges *
· Cell phones, DVDs, Laptops, MP3 Players & Digital Cameras *
· Furniture, home appliances and household items *
· Books *
· Clothing, shoes, handbags/purses/belts and stuffed animals * (these items, if not used locally are sent to third world locations)
· Medical Supplies * (these items are sent to third world countries, while some are used with the local Rural Free Clinic)
* These items can be brought to the back loading dock of
the A.O. Ministry Center during regular operational hours or to the A.O.
Drop-Off building after operating hours.
Cell phones, DVDs, Laptops, MP3 Players &
Digital Cameras and Computer Ink cartridges can be mailed directly to the
recycle companies with AO getting financial credit, if you request free mailers
which can be obtained from the AO Ministry
Center.
