This map shows the regions
of the world where Macedonian is commonly spoken (red circle).
Macedonian is in the South Slavic family of languages. It descended
through the Balto-Slavic branches of Indo-European. It is most
closely related to modern Bulgarian,
Slovenian, and Serbo-Croatian.

map and the other Indo-European language charts for his website at http://www.danshort.com/.
