Thanks to...The C-N Digital Archives Development Team, members of LIS 2675 "Digitizing Research Collections" at the Univeristy of Pittsburgh, Spring 2004: Tara Cassidy, Mel Goff, Stan Michalski, Karen Shephard, and Luke Vilelle. It's been a long road, but we learned a lot and have something to be of proud of -- and had some fun (and ate lots of peanut-butter-filled pretzels) along the way! Liz Shaw, Instructor for LIS 2675 and technical advisor extraordinaire -- for excellence in teaching, including exemplary patience, commitment of time, and holding the bar high -- we feel stretched, but stretching is good! Bruce Kocour, Director of the Stephens-Burnett Library -- for sharing the idea and letting us learn with it! Al Lang, Carson-Newman's Archivist, for allowing the materials to be temporarily stored in Pittsburgh and for his enthusiastic support of the project and its related opportunities. Undertaking this project as part of the completion of the MLIS program at the Univeristy of Pittsburgh was made possible by the Appalachian College Association's Emerson Grant, which was awarded to Mel Goff for the 2003 - 2004 academic year.
